NOW

The past is only history, the future is only a prediction. Your opportunity is NOW. Right now, at the same moment you are reading this, you can start doing things you never thought you had time to do before. This phenomenon I call the Challenge of Nows. In the world of great expectations, time consists of infinite Nows. Each Now contains an instantaneous opportunity. Right after you finish this, remember to take advantage of every Now, possible and miracles shall happen to your life. The Nows are infinite so basically you have got time to accomplish EVERYTHING that is humanly conceivable and maybe even more. This I call the Challenge of Nows because each Now is available to all of us so don't waste anymore and DO what you have to do, NOW.

GOD SPEAK TO ME...

The man whispered,

"God, speak to me."

And a meadowlark sang.

But, the man did not hear.

Then the man yelled

"God, speak to me."

Thunder rolled across the sky.

But, the man did not listen

The man looked around and said,

"God, let me see you."

And the stars shined brightly.

But the man did not notice

And, the man shouted,
"God, show me a miracle."
And, a life was born.
But the man did not know.


So, the man cried out in despair,
"Touch me God, and let me know you are here."
Whereupon, God reached down and touched the man.
But, the man brushed the butterfly away and walked on.

So remember,
don't miss out on a blessing
because it isn't packaged the way
that you expect.
Take notice of the blessings around you.

The Man Who Thinks He Can

If you think you are beaten, you are;

God has something better for you

If God Answers Your Prayer,

He is increasing your FAITH.

If He Delays,

He is increasing you PATIENCE.

If He Doesnt Answer,

He has Something BETTER for You.

Happiness is in my hand

Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

Life is something more

Life is not mathematics, it is not logic, it is not science. It is something more, and that something more is the most valuable. The mystics have called that something more than the “ultimate truth”. They can be forgiven for calling it ultimate. But you have to understand the reason they are callling it ultimate is because there are people who are calling every truth relative-not only scientists, not only people who are working with matter. Mahavirs says that truth itself is ralative: he has no ultimate. Buddha has no ultimate truth. Again the difficulty is that Buddha and Mahavir can be misunderstood when they say that there is no ultimate truth but that every truth is ralative: it can be one thing in one situation, another thing in another situation, and because it is related to situations it cannot have any ultimacy. This gose against all the great mystics.

BE THANKFUL

Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire. If you did, what would there be to look forward to?

Be thankful when you don't know something, for it gives you the opportunity to learn.

Be thankful for the difficult times. During those times you grow.

Be thankful for your limitations, because they give you opportunities for improvement.

Be thankful for your mistakes. They will teach you valuable lessons.

Be thankful when you're tired and weary, because it means you've made a difference.

It's easy to be thankful for the good things.

A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are also thankful for the setbacks.

Find a way to be thankful for your troubles, and they can become your blessings.

Worship

I never knew how to worship until I knew how to love.
